Boge Shock Absorbers Limited Warranty Who is Covered You are eligible for the benefits of this warranty if you are the original purchaser of any Sachs and/or Boge Suspension Products listed below and still own the vehicle on which the Sachs or Boge suspension product was originally installed. What is Covered and For How Long ZF Trading North America, LLC warrants each new: 1. Boge Automatic (Gas), Turbo Gas, Sachs Super Touring (Gas) or Nivomat against defects in materials and workmanship and wear out for as long as you own your passenger car or light truck if the vehicle has been operated under normal conditions. 2. Boge Automatic (Hydraulic), Sachs Super Touring (Hydraulic), engine damper, steering damper, gas spring, hydropneumatic leveling unit or hydromat against defects in materials and workmanship and wear-out for two (2) years (unlimited mileage) if your passenger car or light truck has been operated under normal conditions. Any implied warranties applicable to Sachs and/or Boge suspension products, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited in duration to the periods of time set forth above. What is Not Covered This warranty does not cover any Sachs and/or Boge suspension product which has been (1) supplied for high performance purposes; (2) modified, altered or subjected to abuse, negligence or accident; (3) improperly installed or installed in any vehicle for which they were not designed; (4) installed on any vehicle which has been used commercially or for rallying, racing or off-road use; (6) presented for warranty coverage by one other than the original purchaser; (7) presented for warranty coverage after being used on a vehicle other than the one on which it was originally installed. The warranty does not cover consequential damages, or loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, or other incidental damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty last, or allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. What ZF Trading North America will do ZF Trading North America will replace any defective or worn out Sachs and/or Boge suspension product covered by this warranty with a new one. ZF Trading North America will neither remove nor install and will not pay for the removal or installation of any Sachs and/or Boge suspension product under this warranty. What you must do You must return the defective or worn out Sachs and/or Boge suspension product to the authorized ZF Trading North America distributor from whom you purchased it and present your sales receipt as proof of your date of purchase. This is the only express warranty applicable to Boge suspension products: ZF Trading North America neither assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other express warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
