Shortened rebound length of the damper is often necessary in order to guarantee initial tension of the spring in its rebound state. In exceptional cases, the damper housing also needs to be shortened. This becomes necessary when the legally required rest ranges of spring can no longer be guaranteed at full load. In the part certificate, reference is made to cleared wheel/tire combinations. In general, attention is also given to optics; for instance, how does the vehicle look after lowering. In terms of optics, we aim for a slight wedge shape. This makes the vehicle even more dynamic.
